COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF BUENOS AIRES

A delegation from Uzbekistan State University of World Languages visited one of Argentina’s leading higher education institutions – the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). During the meeting, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed with the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (Filosofía y Letras), which currently has more than 25,000 students.

The agreement aims to expand scientific and educational cooperation, promote academic mobility among students and faculty, develop joint educational programs, and facilitate the exchange of ideas in this field.

The University of Buenos Aires (UBA), founded in 1821, is considered the largest and most prestigious university in Argentina. Currently, it hosts nearly 350,000 students. UBA comprises 13 independent faculties, 20 museums, over 5 hospitals, 13 research institutes, 6 schools and colleges, a veterinary clinic, and the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center.

According to the 2025 QS World University Rankings, UBA is among the world’s top 100 universities, ranked 71st globally and 1st among Latin American universities. It holds the 35th position in academic reputation and 38th in graduate employability.
