COOPERATION WITH ROMANIA CONTINUES UNDER THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project, cooperation between the Faculty of English Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University and the “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia in Romania.

As part of this partnership, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Applied English Studies, Ms. Kh. Avilova, and Lecturer R. Ikramova visited the partner university.

During the visit, meetings were held with Liliana Trifu, a staff member of the university’s International Relations Office, Head of the Department Daniel Melinte, and staff member Stanca Cristina. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation, implementing joint projects, and establishing academic exchange programs.

Additionally, a follow-up meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2025, with Professor Valentin Todescu, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at the partner university, to discuss academic collaboration further.
