Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, during an official visit to the United States, met with Oracle Corporation Managing Director for Government Affairs Ellison O’Brien.

During the meeting, the parties comprehensively discussed the “Uzbekistan–2030” digital transformation strategy, attracting foreign direct investment into the country, and the development of the cloud technology market.

The sides also explored opportunities for the широкое deployment of cloud services not only in Uzbekistan but across Central Asia.

It was emphasized that this would contribute to the rapid development of the digital economy, increase IT service exports, and support the local startup ecosystem.
