EDUCATION REFORMS DISCUSSED IN THE LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER OF THE OLIY MAJLIS

On October 16, 2025, a seminar titled “Modern Trends in Training the New Generation of Educators and Teachers” was held in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

The event was attended by officials of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, led by First Deputy Minister Sardor Rajabov.

The seminar focused on improving teacher training processes in pedagogical higher education institutions, enhancing teachers’ qualifications, introducing international educational programs, and developing the dual education system.

To date, 57,659 schoolteachers and 10,958 kindergarten educators have upgraded their qualifications. Between January and June of this year, 107 pedagogical staff members completed advanced training abroad.

To ensure the effective organization of professional development, 100-hour training courses have been developed in cooperation with UNESCO, UNICEF, the British Council, and the NILE Institute. Joint activities (KRK and KRS) have been organized with Singapore’s Marshall Cavendish Education for teachers of natural and exact sciences. Collaboration is also underway with educational institutions in France, South Korea, Germany, and Russia to enhance the qualifications of teachers in relevant subjects.
