ESTABLISHMENT OF A REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE COUNCIL IN UZBEKISTAN DISCUSSED

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov held a meeting with President of the International Science Council (ISC) Peter Gluckman. Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shahlo Turdiqulova also took part in the meeting.

During the discussion, the sides considered the issue of opening a regional office of the Council for Central Asia and the Caucasus region in Tashkent.

For reference, the International Science Council is a prestigious non-governmental organization operating in the fields of social and natural sciences. It unites more than 200 national scientific academies, associations, and research councils from over 140 countries worldwide.
