FOREIGN EDUCATORS ENGAGED IN TEACHING ACTIVITIES IN REMOTE AREAS OF UZBEKISTAN

January 26, 2026

Seven more foreign educators have begun working in schools across the Bukhara region. As a result, the total number of foreign teachers currently employed in regional schools has reached 61.

Importantly, foreign teachers are being assigned not only to schools in the regional center, but also to educational institutions in districts and remote areas. This expands opportunities for students in outlying regions to learn foreign languages and benefit from modern teaching methods.

The distribution of foreign educators across the region is as follows:

Bukhara city — 23 teachers;
Kagan city — 4 teachers;
Bukhara district — 5 teachers;
Romitan district — 3 teachers;
Jondor district — 2 teachers;
Kagan district — 1 teacher;
Vobkent district — 6 teachers;
Qorako‘l district — 3 teachers;
Peshku district — 6 teachers;
G‘ijduvon district — 7 teachers;
Shofirkon district — 7 teachers.

It should be noted that classes conducted with the participation of foreign educators aim to improve students’ foreign language proficiency and enhance the overall quality of education.
