FORUM DEDICATED TO THE STUDY OF OGAHI’S CREATIVE HERITAGE AND ISSUES OF LITERARY TRANSLATION HELD

The 9th International Forum of Translation Studies, titled “The Study of Ogahi’s Creative Heritage and Issues of Literary Translation,” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

The forum was attended by Nodirjon Kholbutayev, Head of the State Language Development Department under the Cabinet of Ministers, Gairat Majid, Deputy Chairman of the Writers’ Union, and Salim Ashur, Adviser to the Chairman of the Writers’ Union.

During the event, participants discussed the scholarly study of Ogahi’s creative legacy, current challenges in literary translation, modern approaches in translation studies, and shared opinions and professional experience.
