Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), prof. I.M.Tukhtasinov met with D. Ptyushkin, the director of the Russian Language Testing Center of Saint Petersburg State University and I.Ilycheva, the Center’s methodologist.

During the dialogue, the parties agreed to open a Certified Test Center for the Russian language under UzSWLU, as well as train local examiners, improve the teaching of Russian as a foreign language in Uzbekistan, improve the qualifications of professors and teachers, create textbooks in co-authorship, exchange of teachers and students, establishment of joint educational programs, as well as cooperation in the field of scientific research.
