The opening ceremony of the “Bekobod Innovative Youth IT Center” was held in the Bekobod district of the Tashkent region. The event was organized to actively involve young people in the field of information technologies, develop the startup ecosystem, and support innovative ideas.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Digital Technologies Sh. Shermatov, the Hokim of Bekobod district Z. Nizomiddinov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IT Park Uzbekistan F. Ibragimov, and CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan A. Kuchkarov. Foreign guests also participated in the event, including James Wanger, head of the U.S. company Silk Road Professionals.

During the event, participants were introduced to the startup ecosystem, the stages of developing innovative projects, opportunities in the IT sector, and the basics of starting entrepreneurial activities. Interactive discussions were also organized for participants on IT literacy, robotics, developing innovative ideas, and presenting startup projects.

The newly established “Bekobod Innovative Youth IT Center” will serve as an important platform for young people to acquire modern knowledge and skills, develop innovative IT projects, and implement startup initiatives.

The center plans to organize training courses in the following areas:

– fundamentals of programming;
– English language (for IT);
– computer literacy;
– robotics;
– fundamentals of startups and innovative entrepreneurship.
