INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS FOR THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATION WERE DISCUSSED

The international event “Transformation in Education: Global Cooperation for a Brighter Future” was held.

Within the framework of this dialogue, organized on the occasion of the “International Day of Education on January 24,” attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva, Minister Hilola Umarova, Special Adviser to the Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on educational Policy Andreas Schlacher (online), representatives of international organizations (UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP, ICESCO, World Health Organization) and the French Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The main purpose of the event is to strengthen educational cooperation with foreign countries and organizations and develop new ideas for the further development of the education system that meets modern requirements and ensures a sustainable future.

In particular, in 2024, more than 20 important international documents were signed aimed at the development of preschool and school education, as a result of which contacts were expanded and existing partnerships were strengthened.

Advanced training courses were organized for Uzbek teachers in advanced training centers and universities of international organizations, and students and teachers of our country actively participated in international competitions.

South Korea, the United States, Azerbaijan, India, Italy, France and other countries received technical support cargo, computer training devices, food, sports equipment, inclusive education equipment and books as grants. Cooperation has been established with reputable international organizations on the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods.

As part of the ongoing cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of South Korea, a wide range of professional development programs has been opened. At the same time, the burden of technical support from this state, and computer learning devices were attracted in the form of grants.

With the participation of more than 1200 employees of the education system and teachers (with more than 550 programs of improvement of professional skill) was carried out on business trips abroad in UAE, UK, Georgia, Germany, Korea, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, France, Oman.

More than 50 prestigious international forums, symposiums, conferences, round tables, lectures and seminars have been held. More than 500 representatives from foreign countries attended it.
