Professors and lecturers of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies will have the opportunity to undertake a two-week professional development programme at a language teaching institute in Norwich, United Kingdom.

The university was visited by Thom Kiddle, Director of one of the UK’s prestigious language education centres – Norwich Institute for Language Education (NILE).

During the visit, negotiations were held between the university leadership and representatives of NILE on priority areas and practical mechanisms for developing bilateral cooperation.

The meeting focused on professional development for academic staff, the organisation of short-term training courses, the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into language teaching, and the implementation of joint research projects.
