MEETING HELD WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE GERMAN FEDERAL FOREIGN OFFICE

A meeting was held at the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) with Florian Treger-Steintes, Desk Officer for Central Asia at the German Federal Foreign Office, and Clemens Schwanhold, First Secretary of the German Embassy.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan were discussed, as well as issues related to deepening relations within the “Central Asia–Germany” format.

The participants were briefed on the Institute’s activities, its goals and objectives. Information was also provided on the current processes of cooperation in Central Asia, as well as the outcomes and initiatives achieved during the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held in Tashkent.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand practical cooperation and implement joint projects, including organizing working visits and expert discussions within the framework of bilateral cooperation and multilateral dialogue.
