MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE U.S. EMBASSY RELO OFFICE HELD

A meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University with representatives of the Regional English Language Office (RELO) at the U.S. Embassy and English language specialists.

During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, including engaging American English language instructors through RELO programs to deliver lectures and training seminars at USWLU; organizing traditional international conferences and implementing joint projects with the support of the U.S. Department of State; and arranging classes by U.S. expert Dr. Chiramonte at the Faculty of English Philology, the First English Language Faculty, and professional development courses.

The parties agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand international opportunities for the faculty and students of USWLU.
