PROSPECTS OF COOPERATION WITH JAPANESE ORGANIZATIONS DISCUSSED

The rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, received representatives of the Japanese Support Organization for Advancement Foreign Students Co., Ltd. (SOAFS) and Ponte Co. Ltd. on an official visit.

The meeting was attended by the head of SOAFS, Tetsuo Matsumuro, Director of the Education Department Ms. Reiko Hamada, and the head of Ponte Co. Ltd.’s representative office in Uzbekistan, G. Maksudov.

The parties emphasized the importance of training UZSWLU graduates who are proficient in Japanese and possess professional skills, and ensuring their employment in major Japanese companies, particularly in the tourism and hospitality industries.

For reference: SOAFS was established on June 7, 2023, and currently employs 25 staff members. The company focuses on organizing Japanese language and vocational training courses, developing marketing activities, and facilitating the employment of Uzbek citizens in leading companies in Japan.
