ROADMAP FOR COOPERATION SIGNED BETWEEN UNIVERSITY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES AND THE EMBASSY OF PAKISTAN

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ahmad Farooq, and his deputy, Tuba Asif, paid a visit to the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq emphasized the ongoing development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan in various fields.

As part of the visit, a roadmap for cooperation between the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Uzbekistan was signed. The roadmap covers the period from October 2025 to December 2026.

During the discussions, special attention was given to key areas such as organizing student and faculty exchange programs, conducting joint scientific research, holding international conferences and seminars, and promoting an in-depth study of the rich cultural heritage of both countries.

Following the meeting, Ambassador Ahmad Farooq delivered a lecture on “Uzbekistan–Pakistan Relations” at the “Young Orientalist Diplomats Club.”
