SECOND MEETING OF THE SUPREME INTERSTATE COUNCIL HELD UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF UZBEKISTAN AND KAZAKHSTAN
November 15, 2025Today, on November 15, 2025, the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council was held at the “Kuksaroy” residence under the chairmanship of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.


The parties discussed new areas of cooperation, the utilization of bilateral potential, and adopted decisions aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership. Special attention was given to the development of trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics infrastructure, energy, environmental protection, and humanitarian interaction.
It was noted that trade turnover since the beginning of the year reached 4 billion dollars, with the goal of increasing it to 10 billion dollars by 2030. Mechanisms for direct interaction between business circles were established, the “UzKazTrade” company was founded, and a large-scale Industrial Cooperation Program worth over 8 billion dollars was prepared.


The parties also agreed to continue exchanges between scientific and educational institutions, develop cultural and tourism initiatives, and jointly work on new transport corridors and “green” technologies.
As a result of the meeting, a number of key decisions were adopted to further deepen the partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
