THE FIRST JOINT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE WITH INDONESIA HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED

The final certificate award ceremony of the professional development course, organized in cooperation with Indonesia’s Gunadarma University, was held at the Network Center at Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU).

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Director of the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Higher Education Personnel Uzoqboy Begimqulov, Rector of UzSWLU Ilhomjon To‘xtasinov, Head of the International Relations Department at Gunadarma University I Made Wiryana, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Culture Dr. Ichwan Suyudi (online), and Director of the Network Center Jamila Abduganiyeva.

This professional development program was carried out based on a memorandum of cooperation signed on March 26, 2025, between UzSWLU and Gunadarma University.

A total of 13 professors and lecturers from Uzbekistan participated in the course. They took part in practical training sessions held in Jakarta and on the island of Bali, focusing on topics such as integrating artificial intelligence into education, digital technologies, and collaborative teaching methods.

At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates. The course was recognized as an important step toward enhancing the professional skills of higher education faculty and incorporating international educational practices into the local academic system.
