THE III INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “SAHRO SADOSI” TO BE HELD19.09.2025

On October 4–5, the III International Festival “Sahro Sadosi” will take place in the Ellikqala district. The event is organized at the initiative of Tashkent State University of Economics in cooperation with the Tourism Department of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and a number of ministries and agencies.

The main goal of the festival is to widely promote the historical-cultural, pilgrimage, and eco-tourism destinations of Ellikqala district, the craftsmanship of local artisans, as well as the tourism sites of the region.

Over the course of two days, the program will include international trainings by the university’s faculty members, a fine arts competition at the historic site of Topraq-Qala, a national cuisine contest by Lake Aqchako‘l, a concert, and an excursion to the Ichan Qala historical complex.
