THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WILL START ON SEPTEMBER 3 FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS AND ON SEPTEMBER 8 FOR UPPER-YEAR STUDENTS

By the relevant order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the start dates of the 2025/2026 academic year in higher education institutions and academic lyceums have been approved.

According to the order:

– classes for all students of academic lyceums and first-year students of higher education institutions will begin on September 3, 2025;

– classes for second-year and higher-year students of higher education institutions will begin on September 8, 2025.

For newly admitted first-year students, higher education institutions will organize a “Week of Introduction to the Credit Education System” as well as “Dedication to Student Life” events.

Within the framework of this week:
– students will be introduced to the activities of their higher education institution, the content and advantages of the credit-module system will be explained, and guidance will be provided for the purposeful selection of elective courses;
– activities will also be carried out to develop independent learning skills, promote the principles of academic integrity, and encourage professional and personal development.
