Today, the Uzbek language holiday is widely celebrated in Uzbekistan.
34 years ago, on October 21, 1989, the Law “On the State Language of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.
On April 10, 2020, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the law “On the Establishment of the Day of the Uzbek Language”.
According to the law, October 21 is the Day of the Uzbek Language.
