UZBEKISTAN–CHINA: DISCUSSION ON HISTORICAL, CULTURAL, SCIENTIFIC AND ECONOMIC TIES

On November 8, 2025, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted an international scientific and practical conference titled “Uzbekistan–China: Development of Historical, Cultural, Scientific, and Economic Relations”, as well as the international forum “China–Central Asia: Intergovernmental Exchange and Cooperation.”

The event was organized in cooperation with UNESCO and the Confucius Institute under TSUOS.

During the forum, participants discussed the historical and cultural ties between Uzbekistan and China, prospects for bilateral cooperation, and integration processes in education, science, and culture. A presentation of the book containing translations of Uzbekistan’s laws into Chinese was also held.

The conference played an important role in strengthening friendship and partnership between Uzbekistan and China, while expanding opportunities for joint projects in the scientific and cultural spheres.
