As part of the visit of the Uzbekistan delegation to higher education institutions in France, a meeting was held at Paris Sorbonne Nord University.

The delegation was welcomed by Sylvie Barrierere, Vice President for International Relations, Sophie Gindt, Vice President for Research, as well as members of the university’s academic staff.

During the discussions, the parties addressed the strategy for developing cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and France.

Professor R.U. Madjidova from Uzbekistan State World Languages University participated in the program and put forward proposals on opening new levels of study in French language and linguistics at USWLU, organizing a summer school, establishing student and faculty exchange programs, holding international scientific conferences, and developing joint projects.

These initiatives were initially agreed upon at the Uzbekistan–France Education Forum held earlier this year in Paris. The current visit was organized to ensure the implementation of those agreements.
