At the Kuksaroy Residence, negotiations were held between the official delegations led by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
During the meeting, the sides discussed strengthening practical cooperation and further expanding the strategic partnership between the two countries.


The talks covered prospects for increasing trade turnover and implementing joint projects in the fields of mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, information technology, agriculture, tourism, and other areas. The importance of developing new transport routes along the “Central Asia – Balkans” corridor, including the Trans-Caspian route, was also emphasized.


The heads of state exchanged views on labor migration, cultural, humanitarian, and educational cooperation, as well as regional and international issues. The parties agreed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Tashkent next year.
