A CONFERENCE IS BEING HELD ON THE FORMATION OF A NATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE UNESCO PROJECT

Within the framework of the UNESCO project “Development of skills for employment in rural regions of Uzbekistan”, funded by the European Union, a conference is being held on the formation of a National Quality Assurance System in cooperation with the Government of Uzbekistan.

Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbai Sharipov opened the international conference “National Quality Assurance Framework” in the field of technical vocational education, which is being held within the framework of the UNESCO project “Development of skills for employment in rural regions of Uzbekistan”, funded by the European Union.

– The projects implemented with our foreign partners hold a special place in the large-scale reforms initiated in the vocational education system in Uzbekistan. The main focus is on ensuring the quality of education, which will increase the opportunities for young people to acquire the skills they will need in the future, the minister said.

In her welcoming speech, the head of the UNESCO Representative Office in Uzbekistan, Sara Noshadi, also stressed the important role of ensuring the quality of vocational education.

– By ensuring that young people receive consistent and high-quality education, equality, transparency and accountability in education are maintained. By implementing a national quality assurance system, Uzbekistan will enhance the integrity and effectiveness of its vocational education programs, thereby improving educational outcomes and increasing economic efficiency, Sara Noshadi said in her speech.
