A KOREAN CORNER IS OPENED AT NAMANGAN STATE INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The delegation headed by Mr. Kuk Chan Hyon, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, took part in the opening ceremony of the Korean Corner at the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages. The guests were welcomed by Ahrorbek Mansurov, the governor of the Torakorgan district, and Polatkhan Lutfullaev, the rector of the institute.

Exhibitions and dances related to the history of the Korean nation were shown to the guests. Mr. Kuk Chan Hyon expressed his opinion that the culture, art and history of Korea and Uzbekistan are similar to each other, and the opening of this corner will further strengthen this unity. He said that in the future, attention will be paid to perfecting Korean language education through the embassy.
