Outstanding poetic talent

The extraordinary poetic talent of Babur’s lyrical works is almost never read by modern youth, which is completely in vain. His lyrics are a song of human beauty and love. In his works, he praises a real, honest, devoted personality. Exalts a just and worthy person.

He describes his feelings so subtly and so elegantly that reading into his love lines, an understanding of the incredibly deep and sensual nature of this genius develops.

Where the roses are, there are thorns, evil in joy, well!

There is no sweetness in wine without bitterness, well!

So in my poems, then sad, then cheerful,

And there are ups sometimes, and weaknesses, well!

Founder of the Mughal Empire

The Mughal Empire was formed by Babur when the entire ruling class led by him penetrated into India. The empire existed for quite a long time from the middle of the XVI century to the middle of the XVIII century and operated on the territory of modern India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and southeastern Afghanistan. It is noteworthy that neither Babur nor the descendants of the Empire called themselves that. This name was given by the English colonialists. They thus referred to the Muslim population in Northern India and Central Asia.

The Taj Mahal

The famous symbol of India, the Taj Mahal mosque-mausoleum, was built by Babur’s great–grandson Shah Jahan in the XVII century. Few people know that this grandiose monument was built by a descendant of the Baburid dynasty, who immortalized his name thanks to the construction of such a structure.
