On 10 March 2023, the British Council will be holding the second New Directions Series English Language Assessment Conference in Tashkent in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Pre-school and School Education and the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The event will provide a forum for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to share ideas and discuss how to achieve the country’s ambitious plans for the sector in the year of “English Reform and Quality Education”.
The British Council is committed to supporting teacher professional development in Uzbekistan and will be sharing some short video clips summarising the main relevant points from the conference for teachers.
