INTERNATIONAL EVENTS WERE HELD AT THE SHANGHAI AND BEIJING UNIVERSITIES OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

On September 12-17, a delegation from the Uzbekistan State World Languages University took part in events organized at the Shanghai and Beijing Foreign Languages Universities, PRC.

The “IV Forum of Presidents of the Global Association of Foreign Language Universities” took place at Shanghai Foreign Studies University, as well as the “Forum of Language and Civilization” was organized at the Beijing Foreign Studies University.

At these events, prof. Bahrom Kulmatov the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Uzbekistan State Foreign Languages University spoke on the topic “The role of foreign language universities in the process of cultural exchange and mutual learning.”

As part of the event, a dialogue took place with the leadership of the Shanghai and Beijing Foreign Studies Universities.
