New projects shortlisted in the Erasmus+ project have commenced. Particularly, the participants of the project “Pathways to Empowerment in Gender-based Violence Prevention” have gathered for the first meeting in Gozo, Malta.
In the meeting, 11 countries, namely Canada, Norway, Bulgaria, Greece, Malta and Uzbekistan, presented speeches about the gender-based violence issues in their home country and tangible ways out of the problem.
Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of the Uzbek language and literature is a delegate of Uzbekistan in this project. The coordinator of the project, Nozliya Normurodova, participated in the first meeting.
In Malta meeting, 3 projects have been confirmed and agreements have been signed by 11 participant countries.
