PROFESSOR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI WILL CONDUCT LESSONS FOR UZSWLU STUDENTS

Uzbekistan State World Languages University welcomed guests from the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan.

The rector of the university I. Tukhtasinov received Haris Lipscomb and Hamid Inamkhodjaev, specialists from the public diplomacy department of the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan, as well as Ms. Clahar Deniz, a professor of Miami University, who will conduct lessons at the university for 1 year within the Fulbright program.

During the dialogue, ideas were exchanged on projects implemented in mutual cooperation with the United States, work to develop English language teaching in Uzbekistan and issues of taking existing relations to a new level were discussed.

In particular, the rector of the university Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov expressed his suggestions on the issues of inviting native speakers from the United States, implementing various projects, as well as organizing international conferences.
