THE NOBEL PRIZE WINNER SPOKE AT A STUDENT CONFERENCE IN SAMARKAND

The conference was organized in the city of Samarkand under the motto “Shaping the Science” (Transforming science into the consciousness of youth).

At the opening of the conference, Nobel Prize laureate Harold Warmus made an introductory speech and wished the participants good luck.

Mr. Versus also stressed that at present it is the younger generation that should bring the scientific potential of our country to a new level.

The conference was attended by more than 20 professors and lecturers from domestic and foreign universities, students from more than 10 prestigious universities in the world, and organized master classes for their peers.

After the conference, university students held a round table with students from Johns Hopkins, Cornell University, New York University (USA), Hong Kong University (China) and the University of Engineering (Germany) and discussed how the education system is currently being built in different countries.
