On May 26, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, met with Muhammad Iqbal Guler, a Turkish language instructor at the university, who is working there on the recommendation of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Muhammad Iqbal Guler spoke about his activities as a teacher at UzSWLU and his efforts to train qualified translators through in-depth Turkish language instruction. He also shared his proposals for improving the teaching of the Turkish language and country studies subjects, updating curricula, and aligning them with international standards.
During the conversation, he emphasized his readiness to expand cooperation with Turkish higher education institutions, particularly with 19 Mayıs University, and expressed his willingness to provide practical support in this direction.
At the end of the meeting, Iqbal Guler presented Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov with a commemorative gift on behalf of Fatma Aydın, Rector of 19 Mayıs University.
