The 5th International Forum, themed “Global and National Economic Trends: Uzbekistan – 2030,” opened on October 29 at Tashkent State University of Economics. Today, October 30, the international forum continues its work.

The event brings together representatives of relevant ministries and government agencies of Uzbekistan, international organizations and financial institutions, as well as renowned economists, scholars and experts from the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Poland, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, India and other countries.

The two-day forum programme includes five scientific and practical conferences, including an international conference indexed in the Scopus database, a meeting with distinguished university alumni, and a series of thematic seminars.

A special highlight of the programme is the international youth festival “Global Development and the Intellectual Generation,” which brings together more than 3,200 students.

Key topics under discussion include economic reforms within the framework of the Uzbekistan – 2030 Strategy, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, ESG principles and the adoption of green technologies.

The forum serves as an important platform for strengthening international academic cooperation, sharing best practices and developing new research-based and practical approaches to the advancement of the modern economy.
