An international scientific conference titled “The Naqshbandi Tradition: Its Role in Promoting Peace, Tolerance and Mutual Understanding in Islam” was held at Bukhara State Technical University.

The conference opened with a recitation of the Quran and prayers for peace and tranquility in Uzbekistan and around the world.

The conference brought together prominent scholars, Islamic studies experts, thinkers and researchers from Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Zambia, Egypt, the United States, Indonesia, Pakistan and other countries.

The opening session featured speeches by Azizkhuja Inoyatov, Director of the Bahauddin Naqshband Research Center; Malaysian Islamic scholar Sheikh Abdul Kareem Bin Said Khadaied; and Sadoqat Siddiqova, Rector of Bukhara State Technical University.

During the conference, participants heard presentations on the role of the authentic Naqshbandi tradition in Islamic spirituality, promoting peace and tolerance, spiritual education, and fostering mutual understanding in society. The participants also exchanged academic views and experiences.

The international conference served as an important scientific platform for developing academic and cultural dialogue among different countries and promoting universal human values.
