NEW AREAS OF COOPERATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA IDENTIFIED

Dean of the Faculty of English Philology No. 1 of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Guli Ergasheva, held a meeting with Dr. Junaidi, Director of the Projects and Partnerships Department and Vice President of the UI GreenMetric International Ranking at the University of Indonesia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further strengthening of bilateral cooperation, exchange of best practices in the fields of education, science, and culture, as well as the implementation of joint projects.

The discussion covered the establishment of an Indonesian Studies Center at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, publication of research articles by the university’s professors and researchers in Wacana, a scientific journal indexed in Scopus, and the launch of exchange programs for teachers and academic staff. The proposal to organize online lectures and classes with the participation of qualified Indonesian professors was also raised.

In addition, agreements were reached to implement joint projects with the UzWAVE Gender Studies Center, organize music instrument training sessions initiated by the University of Indonesia, and provide methodological consultations on issues related to the GreenMetrics international ranking.
