NUKUS STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY SECURES INTERNATIONAL GRANTS UNDER ERASMUS+

Nukus State Technical University has earned the right to participate in two major international projects under the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme.

Project 1: DIANA
Developing Rural Tourism by Empowering Women
The DIANA project focuses on expanding opportunities for women in rural areas of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It aims to improve digital literacy among women and engage them in entrepreneurship based on green economy principles, contributing to the development of rural tourism.

Project 2: MECAS
Developing Master’s Programs in Eco-Informatics for the Aral Sea Region
The MECAS project is designed to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in response to the ecological crisis in the Aral Sea region. The initiative will develop modern master’s programs in eco-informatics.

Through the implementation of these grant projects, the university will introduce new academic disciplines, professional development programs, international training opportunities, and expand its international cooperation.
