PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND GREECE DISCUSSED

A meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University with the participation of the Ambassador of Greece, Ms. Paraskevi Tseveleki, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Ioannis Loverdos, and representatives of the ministry and the embassy.

The meeting was attended by the university’s Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov, Head of the International Cooperation Department Kh. Yuldashev, and Greek language instructor S. Musayeva.

During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on expanding partnerships with Greek higher education institutions, promoting academic exchange, involving Greek experts in the university’s activities, and developing grant programs and summer schools for teachers and students. At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in education and implementing new joint projects.
