SAMARKAND AND IRANIAN UNIVERSITIES STRENGTHEN ACADEMIC TIES

Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages welcomed a delegation from Imam Reza International University, based in Mashhad, the Islamic Republic of Iran. The delegation included the university’s Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Daneshifar, and Head of the International Relations Department, Dr. Ibrahim Davudi Sharifabad.

During a meeting with the institute’s Rector, B. Kholikov, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between the two higher education institutions. Key topics included establishing student and faculty exchange programmes, developing joint academic programmes, and conducting collaborative research.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two institutions signed a memorandum of cooperation.
