On November 18, 2023, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between The National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education of Indonesia and Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The head of the Agency, Muchlas Samani, as well as rectors and vice-rectors of a number of higher educational institutions in Indonesia, talked with the leadership of UzSWLU headed by Rector Prof. I.Tukhtasinov.

The document considers cooperation in the implementation of exchange programs, the creation of joint educational programs, scientific research, and the development of a tourist destination.

The National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi), well-known as BAN-PT, is an independent agency for evaluation, whose main task is to decide on the adequacy of a program and/or education unit at the higher education level, referring to national standards of education.

Higher education accreditation is the evaluation of adequacy of a program and/or institution of higher education, based on criteria that have been established to provide quality assurance to the community.

To undertake higher education accreditation, the government established the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education. BAN-PT is a non-structural, non-profit, independent agency under the National Education Minister.
