As part of the official visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations to China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, important meetings and negotiations were held in Urumqi.

During discussions organized at the Human Resources Industrial Park of the Urumqi High-Tech Zone, the parties addressed issues related to expanding bilateral cooperation, supporting innovative development, and improving modern engineering education.

The negotiations resulted in agreements on introducing internationally recognized engineering certification programs, launching internship opportunities for professors and researchers, and regularly organizing joint scientific projects and academic seminars.

At the conclusion of the talks, the parties signed an agreement “On the Joint Establishment of the Uzbekistan–China International Human Resources Services Industrial Park.”

This initiative is expected to create new opportunities for training qualified specialists, developing professional skills, strengthening scientific and technological cooperation, and improving the effective management of industrial parks between the two countries.

In addition, the parties agreed to hold the annual “Uzbekistan–China International Forum on Human Resources Services and Scientific-Technological Innovative Development.” It was emphasized that the forum would serve as an important platform for expanding cooperation in science, innovation, and the training of young professionals.

During the visit, members of the delegation also familiarized themselves with China’s advanced manufacturing enterprises, innovative platforms, and modern technological solutions, while exchanging views on the prospects for implementing these practices in Uzbekistan.
