COOPERATION BETWEEN UNIVERSITIES OF UZBEKISTAN AND SPAIN IS REACHING A NEW LEVEL
June 12, 2026The official opening ceremony of the First Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan–Spain Universities was held at King Juan Carlos University in Madrid.
As part of the forum, participants discussed prospects for cooperation in higher education, science, and academic exchange, as well as issues related to strengthening inter-university ties and implementing new joint projects.
During the sessions, meetings, and negotiations, representatives of the two countries’ higher education institutions exchanged views on establishing new partnerships, expanding student and faculty exchange programmes, and implementing promising scientific and educational initiatives.
The forum is expected to contribute to the further development of academic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain, while also enhancing integration into the international educational landscape.
