October 30, 2026

An international workshop under the Erasmus+ CyberCCA project is being held from 26 to 30 October at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA) in Pisa, Italy. The project aims to develop an innovative master’s degree programme in cybersecurity tailored to the digital labour market in Central Asia.

Professor Rano Majidova, Head of the Department of General Linguistics at Uzbekistan State World Languages University, is participating in the international event.

The workshop brings together representatives of universities from Europe and Central Asia to exchange expertise in developing modern cybersecurity curricula, applying advanced teaching approaches, organising practical training sessions, and implementing CyberLab models.

Discussions also cover the application of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), the allocation of academic workloads, and the alignment of curricula with international professional competency requirements.

Representatives of the Technical University of Madrid (Spain), the University of Antwerp (Belgium), Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Pisa, Italy), and the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (Romania) are presenting European experience in cybersecurity education and practice-oriented training.
