PRESIDENT SHAVKAT MIRZIYOYEV EXTENDED CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO SCHOOL GRADUATES
May 24, 2025
Dear Young Men and Women,
I sincerely congratulate you on today’s joyful and unforgettable occasion — your successful graduation from school, the receipt of your diplomas, and your first steps into independent life.
On this momentous day, the “Last Bell” ceremony is taking place in more than 10,000 schools across the country, with the participation of caring teachers and respected parents. Warm wishes and words of guidance are being extended to over 450,000 graduates.
We join in these heartfelt wishes and sincerely hope that all of you — young people with great dreams and hopes for the future — will find the strength, energy, and success to turn your aspirations into reality.
In particular, we congratulate and express our warmest wishes to more than 11,500 graduates awarded gold medals and 2,000 silver medalists, who have always served as role models to their peers in education, knowledge acquisition, and civic engagement.
Dear Graduates,
Today, our people and our nation rely first and foremost on knowledgeable, skilled, enterprising, patriotic, and well-rounded youth to achieve the great goals ahead of us.
We are creating the necessary conditions for the younger generation — the builders of our future — to take an active part in shaping the New Uzbekistan. To help you master modern knowledge and professions, along with your native and foreign languages, IT and innovative technologies, various forms of creativity and entrepreneurship, we now have 201 higher education institutions, 598 technical colleges, numerous monoprofile centers and technoparks, libraries, and institutions of culture, art, and sports operating effectively across the country.
New systems, programs, and digital platforms are being launched to enhance the quality and effectiveness of education at all levels and to expand the choices available to graduates.
I am confident that you will make full use of these tremendous opportunities, value every minute of your youth, and grow into true professionals — courageous and decisive individuals who will protect the independence and interests of our Motherland in every sphere. You will be wise, noble individuals, devoted to your country and people.
Always remember: in order to earn a worthy place in life and gain the respect of society, a person must be committed to both national and universal values, constantly strive to move forward, and never stop searching for and acquiring new knowledge and skills.
Undoubtedly, honest and conscientious work, a thirst for knowledge, dedication to your profession, and love for your parents and family elevate a person and fill life with meaning and color.
In today’s fast-paced world, brave, determined, and selfless young people like you must achieve tangible results every day, strengthen your will through challenges, and move forward — always forward.
I am confident that your fresh ideas, initiatives, and achievements in various fields will make the New Uzbekistan even stronger and become an invaluable contribution to its solid material and spiritual foundations.
Your beloved schools, your dear teachers and parents, and our entire nation are looking to you — a determined youth confident in its abilities — to achieve great things and bright successes.
Live up to this high level of trust!
Never stop striving, searching, and creating new things!
Congratulations on taking your first step into adult life, my dear sons and daughters!
Shavkat Mirziyoyev
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
