The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the U.S. delegation led by Sergio Gor, the U.S. President’s Special Representative for South and Central Asia.
The meeting focused on further developing the bilateral strategic partnership and expanding cooperation in the areas of economy, energy, digitalization, and security.
The sides also exchanged views on global and regional issues and discussed preparations for the upcoming “C5+1” summit.
It should be noted that on November 6, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump will host the “C5+1” summit of the leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States in Washington.
