Young representatives of Uzbekistan delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 World Robot Contest (WRC) Championships and the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) China Offseason Event, held in Sanya, Hainan Province, China.

Students from Tashkent State Transport University secured second place in the Runner-Up category, earning silver medals. The team was also honored with the “Most Active and Exemplary Team” award.

Uzbekistan was represented at the prestigious competition by teams from Almalyk State Technical Institute, Tashkent State Transport University, and Bukhara State Technical University.

The championship brought together more than 10,000 participants from over 25 countries. This remarkable achievement once again demonstrates the growing potential of Uzbekistan’s youth in engineering, robotics, and innovation.
